New plenarist for METM1509-09-2015Dr. Gibson Ferguson, who was to be joint plenarist for METM15 and PRISEAL, has very sadly had to withdraw for health reasons. In consultation with the PRISEAL team, we have approached Prof. John Flowerdew of City University of Hong Kong, who has agreed to step in and address the conference in Coimbra. John Flowerdew is a leading scholar in the fields of discourse analysis, ESP/EAP and writing for publication (click for a brief online biography). He will be talking to us about Some recent corpus-based approaches to researching, teaching and supporting scholarly writing. |
