How long does membership last?
Membership runs from January 1st to December 31st. New members who sign up between October 1st and December 31st will automatically have their membership extended until December 31st of the following year.
How can I pay?

Click here for bank account details for national and international transfers to MET. Make sure you include your name and purpose of payment when making the transfer. All transfers must be sent free of charges for MET. If you are transferring money from a non-euro country, you may wish to consider using Transferwise.
Direct debit is an option only if you have a Spanish bank account. Print, fill in and sign the direct debit authorization form and return it to MET by email (scanned) or by regular mail. The MET membership fee will be debited directly from your bank account on receipt of your application. Every January thereafter the dues will be debited for as long as you remain a member.
To pay using your credit card, select the “Paypal/credit card” option. You do not need to have a Paypal account to pay by credit card via the Paypal system. Although the first thing you see when you choose this option is a form asking you to sign in to Paypal, further down there is a less prominent option for those who do not have a Paypal account.
If you are outside the European Union or in any situation where it is difficult to make a bank transfer, you may find it more convenient to use the PayPal online transfer system. Please do not forget to include details of your payment in the space provided on the PayPal page.
Why choose bank transfer?
Bank transfer is the best option for MET, regardless of where you are based, and may not be as expensive as you think. If you are a eurozone resident, under Regulation (EC) No 924/2009
your bank cannot charge more than it would for a transfer within your home country. In contrast, for a membership payment of €38 MET pays a Paypal charge* of €1.64, or 4.3%.
