MET's charter and bylaws

Mediterranean Editors and Translators (MET) is nonprofit association number 31703, registered in Barcelona with the justice department of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Our legally-binding charter is in Catalan and English is our working language. An English translation of the objectives was posted early in 2006. A project is underway to produce a valid translation (revised and reviewed, following good practice guidelines).

Internal bylaws to interpret the charter are being written in English as needed. The 2006 General Assembly approved three bylaws to guide Council elections, create standing committees and define a system for proxy voting.
