Call
for participation
We
welcome proposals that will add practical
and theoretical range to the preliminary
program. We’ll make an effort
to group related talks together, so
do not hesitate to make proposals
you feel complement existing ones.
We
are interested in talks that address
issues in editing, translation, special-purposes
English instruction, and project management
for international communication. The
interrelations between written, oral
and audiovisual texts also concern
us. The presentation of research into
promising practices in writing, oral
communication coaching, editing or
translation that have practical applications
are very welcome. Practical applications
of discourse analysis and other tools
from applied linguistics have a place
at our meetings. We also have a group
interested in the history of communication
and changes in language policy and
use in the Mediterranean.
Proposals
should be received by 10 June 2006.
Please
send your abstract in the format requested
as an attachment to metmeeting@gmail.com.
