Travel to and within Barcelona

Barcelona is easy to reach by train from other European cities and by air on many budget and regular airlines. There is convenient, inexpensive transport from the airport by coach (to Plaça Catalunya) and train (to the main station—Sants). A taxi from the airport costs between €20 and €30, including a luggage supplement. A small tip is usual if the driver gets out to handle your suitcase.

The METM 06 venue, in the Eixample district of the city, is an easy walk from two underground (Metro) stations: Tetuan (Line 2) and Urquinaona (Lines 1 and 4). It’s only five blocks from Plaça Catalunya, the large square that marks the boundary between the Gothic Quarter and the Eixample.
