Presenters
are asked to register by 1 September,
please, so that the printed program
material can be completed early. The
reduced speaker’s fee reflects
expenses only and of course covers
admission to all sessions, coffee
breaks, lunch and Friday evening
tapas & cava.

Student
fee/grants
A
reduced student fee or a full fee
waiver will be offered to a limited
number of students with mature skills.
In the award of full waivers, we will
favor students who must travel and
who are accompanied by their professors
or by speakers. Both reduced fees
and full waivers must be applied for.
Awards will be announced after 1 September
2006, although later applications
will be considered.
Successful
student candidates will come from
translation, linguistics
or modern languages
postgraduate programs in Mediterranean
countries or from non-Mediterranean
programs specializing in Mediterranean
languages. Student candidates from
university English or modern language
programs should have a strong interest
in English for specific purposes or
genre analysis. Further details of

If you are located outside the European
Union and find it difficult or expensive
to make a bank transfer, you may find
it more convenient to use a credit
card with the PayPal online money
transfer system. To make an online
credit card payment, go to the PayPal
web page (www.paypal.com)
and follow the instructions for sending
money. Enter metm06@gmail.com
when asked to enter teh recipient's
e-mail address. Please state the amount
and date of your transfer when you
send your METM06 registration form
to the metm06@gmail.com
