METM-related publications

Mediterranean Editors’ and Translators’ Meetings help members of the association and other participants share knowledge and collect information on needs in our region.

During preparation of the first METM in 2005, there was consensus among the organizers that instead of publishing a proceedings volume, we would keep track of METM-related research reports, practice descriptions, or other articles published in journals and e-publications.

This page logs such publications as they appear. We also list a few papers that were already in the literature at the time of the meeting, because METM speakers are sometimes invited to discuss recently published work. By logging this information, we hope to enable interested readers to track METM content.

Open-access links to the articles are provided whenever possible. For other papers, check for the author’s self-archived copies that might be available on the web or contact the author to ask for a reprint.

A general review of METM05 by Karen Shashok was published in the February 2006 issue of the EASE journal European Science Editing. Click here for a pdf download of this article (posted with permission of the journal). Another review by Alan Lounds, published in IEEE PCS newsletter can be found here. Further reviews of METMeetings will be published as they become available.
