A burricleta is an electric bicycle with assisted pedalling. It's just like a conventional bike, but it has a small electric motor that gives you an extra push when cycling uphill and helps you soar along flat stretches with minimal effort. If you can ride a bike, you can ride a burricleta!

We will begin this tour by pedalling alongside La Devesa, a park filled with 150-year-old plane trees, before continuing along the ancient royal road that linked Girona with the town of Sant Gregori. On the way, we’ll stop by the River Ter and try to catch a glimpse of a friendly otter. After crossing the river, we will turn back towards Girona, stopping by La Pilastra, a spot frequented by canoeists. We will follow “El Carrilet,” a disused railway that has been repurposed as a bike path. In the final stretch along the River Ter, we will take in the agricultural scenery on the outskirts of the city. The final view will be one of Girona’s most beautiful images: the colourful houses on the River Onyar.
