Tim Parks to moderate the METM17 translation slam22-05-2017When in Brescia… This year’s slam will have a distinctly Italian flavour. Organizer Daniela Majerna has assembled a crack team: slammers Denise Muir and Oliver Lawrence have bravely volunteered to compare their translations of a short Italian text under the watchful eye of expert moderator and METM17 keynote speaker Tim Parks. And as if that wasn’t enough, the venue for this year’s slam is the splendid enoteca SignorVino Brescia, which serves up local delectables in the heart of the city.
