Getting to Split

Split has an international airport just 20 km from the city centre. The airports of Zadar and Zagreb are about 150 and 400 km away, respectively. Croatian cities are well connected by bus. Travelling by train is another option.

Transferring from Split airport to the city centre

A shuttle bus service takes you from Split airport to the main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor) in 30 minutes and costs kn30 (about €4)* for a one-way ticket. The bus station is right by the port and close to the old quarters, so it may well be within walking distance of your hotel.

A taxi from the airport into town takes 25 to 40 minutes and costs about kn300 (€40). Be sure to ask the taxi driver for an approximate price before you set off and let them know that you will want a receipt at the end of your journey.
