A number of Spanish universities provide translation/editing services for the
members of their institutions. The panellists will describe the structures within
which they operate, the demands placed on them and what they can offer to their
clients. They will also discuss the problem of finding/training persons to translate
and edit academic texts, good and bad practices, the quality assurance systems
used, and the advantages and disadvantages of working in-house or outsourcing.
