I have been a professional translator for over 30 years, having experienced several different careers during which I picked up a variety of skills. Now in my senior years, I continue to translate, but not to the same extent as before.

I am a Chartered Linguist and as such, I maintain my CPD each year to keep my skills and knowledge up to date.

In my spare time, I volunteer for a number of local charities, including a local heritage windmill; I am an active member of Toastmasters International, an organisation to support people in leadership and speaking skills. I love to sing in a choir.

For eight years I was managing director of eCPD Webinars - a training company dedicated to providing training for translators and interpreters.
