Following on from my MA in Interpreting and Translation in 2011, I started my career in translation as an in-house technical translator for the aeronautical industry in Toulouse, France.
After nearly eight years dedicated to some of the biggest names in the sector including Airbus Group and Safran Group companies, I decided it was time to move on.
And so, I went freelance in 2020 and set up my business Elementary Translations. Since then, I have branched out. Yes, I am still a technical translator and I continue to handle corporate, legal and business texts (especially H&S), however, I now also translate marketing copy for companies and charities operating in fields closer to my heart – food, travel, and overseas development.
