Mediterranean Editors & Translators Meeting 2016
Raising standards through knowledge sharing and peer training
October 13-15, 2016
Centre Tarraconense - "El Seminari"
Tarragona, Spain
The annual Mediterranean Editors and Translators Meeting (METM), now in its twelfth year, is an established CPD and networking event – a highlight in the calendar for many editors, translators, interpreters and other providers of English-language support services in the Mediterranean area and beyond. It offers one and a half days of presentations and keynote speeches, two half-days of pre-conference workshops, and a program of “Off-METM” events at a venue in a Mediterranean country. In 2016, we held our meeting at a spectacular venue: Centre Tarraconense, a former Catholic seminary that now houses a state-of-the-art conference facility. With its stunning combination of old and new, the center exudes a unique charm—most notably in the covered cloister enveloping a diminutive 13th-century chapel.
