I am a native speaker of English with a degree in Biochemistry and a PhD in Anatomy & Neuroscience. I performed my postdoctoral research into mitochondria, neuronal apoptosis, and synapse formation in Barcelona, Spain. I specialize in the English editing and Spanish-to-English translation of scientific journal articles and related texts in the biological science and medical fields and have been an official Spanish to English translator for the Spanish Journal of Cardiology (Revista Española de Cardiología) since 2013.
