Agreement with SfEP14-06-2015MET has reached an agreement with the Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) under which MET members will be able to attend the SfEP/SI 1st joint conference at a special discounted rate, while SfEP members will be able to sign up for METM15 at the discounted sister association rate.
Booking is now open for the 1st SfEP/SI joint conference, ‘Collaborate and innovate’, at the University of York, on Saturday 5 to Monday 7 September 2015. MET members are invited to sign up at a special discounted rate.
Highlights include John Thompson of Cambridge University as Whitcombe lecturer; workshops and seminars on a range of topics, from an introduction to Word to book art and its role in developing literacy, from indexing for editors to the use of corpora; and an after-dinner speech by the linguist, editor and indexer David Crystal.
