Mediterranean Editors and Translators Meeting 2027

14-16 October 2027
El Seminari. Casa de Cultura
Tarragona, Spain

The annual Mediterranean Editors and Translators Meeting (METM) is an established CPD and networking event – a highlight in the calendar for language professionals working with English in the Mediterranean area and beyond. The programme features two half-days of pre-conference workshops, one and a half days of peer presentations and keynote talks, and a range of off-METM networking events.

In 2027, we’ll be returning to Tarragona, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its Roman ruins, medieval centre and vibrant Catalan traditions. Our venue, El Seminari, is a former Catholic seminary that combines heritage architecture with modern conference facilities. After an 11-year break, we’re delighted to be going back.

Registration is now open for members. It will open to members of sister associations and non-members on 1 June.

Registration will open in late May 2027.
