Amy Dara Hochberg is awarded Franklin Research Grant

MET member Amy Dara Hochberg has been awarded a Franklin Research Grant from the American Philosophical Society for her work on the multilingual health communication research project “Translating Health Across Cultures: an Analysis of Informed Consent Documents in English, Spanish, and Hungarian for Improved Medical Communication”. The project will examine informed consent forms in English, Spanish and Hungarian, with the aim of creating a comprehensive guide for translators in six language pairs.
