Macros from square one: learn to work smarter and faster with Word macros10-01-2025Our 2025 CPD season kicks off with an online workshop introducing Word macros, powerful tools that can boost productivity while reducing repetitive strain. Jennifer Yankopolus has been editing architecture and design texts for 25 years. She is an instructor in the Copyediting Certificate Program at UC San Diego and helps editors worldwide become efficient macro users through courses and webinars. In this two-hour, demonstration-based session she will explain how to harness macros to automate routine tasks and enhance workflow. Participants will also receive detailed written instructions, practice materials and a recording to guide them through the technical steps at their own pace.
