MET Council retreat

18-11-2020

Due to the impossibility of meeting in person this year, the newly elected MET Council held its annual retreat over Zoom, meeting three times between 30 October and 13 November.

The top item on the agenda was to tackle the extraordinary challenge of meeting MET’s objectives in a year where the pandemic will continue to loom and affect our ability to hold in-person events. We looked at lessons learned in 2020 and laid the groundwork for a CPD and social events programme for the year ahead. And METM21 is in the works – stay tuned for our announcement.

The annual retreat affords council members the opportunity to work together shoulder-to-shoulder, ensuring that MET runs smoothly. This year’s virtual retreat was no different: we rounded off our two business meetings with a third social meeting, complete with virtual visits to each member’s home base.
