METM24 theme and call for proposals

We’re delighted to announce the theme for METM24, our 20th annual conference, which will take place in Carcassonne, France, from 17 to 19 October:

Crossroads: coming together, crafting the future

This year’s theme is all about what happens when people reach a crossroads in their work.

How are ideas, partnerships and professional practices engendered or revitalized? What fruitful approaches can language professionals adopt, alone or together, to craft their future? How can new knowledge, connections and technologies spur growth, create community or improve resilience?

As ever, we welcome proposals that respond to MET’s broad interest in helping language professionals improve the quality of their services and their ability to respond to clients’ diverse needs, from both seasoned and novice presenters.
