METM26 theme and call for proposals

We are now accepting proposals for METM26, our 22nd annual conference to be held in Perugia, Italy from 15 to 17 October. 

This year’s theme is Voices heard and unheard.

We want to explore how language professionals represent their clients’ voices, how they make voices from the past resonate in the present, how they preserve marginalized voices and minoritized languages, and how they champion their own voice in the era of the algorithm. 

As ever, we welcome proposals that respond to MET’s broad interest in helping language professionals improve the quality of their services and their ability to respond to clients’ diverse needs, from both seasoned and novice presenters.
