Current membership rates
Membership runs from 1 January to 31 December. New and returning members who sign up between 1 October and 31 December will automatically have their membership extended until 31 December of the following year.
Fees for the different types of member are as follows:

| Individual – age 21-64 | €38 |
| Individual – age 65+ | €19 |
| Individual – student* (age 21+) | €19 |
| Institution** (up to 5 individual members) | €100 |
* “Student” means a person in full-time education. You must provide evidence of enrolment and inform MET when your situation changes.

Sister associations
MET has agreements with other associations of language professionals, whereby the members of each association are entitled to a discount on events organized by the others.
