Fees for METM17

Members and non-members pay different rates to attend the conference (membership costs €38 per calendar year, or €19 for students and persons aged 65 and over). Student discounts

MET is offering a 60% discount on the member registration fee for two student members enrolled in a formal translation, editing or similar postgraduate training programme. To apply for this discount, please write to MET’s treasurer by 10 July, explaining your background and providing a brief write-up of why you are interested in attending the conference and how it could benefit you.

Travel grants

MET considers travel grants to support speakers from resource-poor regions who do not have sufficient institutional support. If you are a speaker and need assistance to attend METM17, contact MET’s treasurer to apply for partial support.
