I was educated in the US as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor of Science) and Family Nurse Practitioner (Master of Science; work similar to that of a medical general practitioner), with 10+ years experience working in the medical field. I also taught as a professor for one year (2004-2005) at the St Louis University campus in Madrid, Spain in the undergraduate nursing program (specific courses were pathophysiology and physical assessment skills). I moved to France in 1997 and have since worked in the field of translation and editing, specifically in the areas of medicine, pharmacology, biology and life sciences.  My work covers a wide variety of texts including clinical research articles and trials, adverse event reports, hospital records, pharmaceutical reports, medicinal and biological product evaluations, websites, journal articles and scientific investigator brochures.
