MET workshop day in Nantes – registration now open

Registration for our workshop day in Nantes is now open. Join us at the University of Nantes on Friday, 26 April for a full day of peer-to-peer training.

In the morning, there'll be a choice of two new three-hour workshops:

• Wine words – translating in the wine world with Ruth Simpson
• Perfecting it with PerfectIt with Timothy Barton

And in the afternoon, there'll be a MET medley of short talks:

• An assortment of tips and tools from the Hive with Emma Goldsmith
• Au revoir, Franglais: cutting out source-language interference with Helen Oclee-Brown
• Is full post-editing of machine translation output a pipe dream? with Michael Farrell

We are grateful to our colleagues at the Faculty of Foreign Languages and Cultures (FLCE) for kindly letting us use their facilities, and especially to faculty dean Didier Delorme, who will be giving a welcome address.

Our 2019 workshop season continues in Pisa, on 8 June, at the Scuola Normale Superiore.
