Qualifications and experience
Based in Barcelona, I’m an independent writing coach, translator and editor specializing in humanities, social sciences, and health sciences. I help researchers—especially ones for whom English is not a first language—get their results published in English. I hold a Ph.D. in linguistic anthropology from the University of Michigan and I have published my own research in top academic journals since 2009. Before moving to Barcelona in 2013, I taught anthropology in the U.S. at the undergraduate and graduate levels for 13 years. In addition to one-on-one consultation, I also offer courses and seminars on academic writing in English.
