Kate Sotejeff-Wilson, Wendy Baldwin and Theresa Truax-Gischler contribute chapters to a new book

20-01-2024

MET members Kate Sotejeff-Wilson and Wendy Baldwin are co-editors, along with Joana Pais Zozimo of Lancaster University, of the newly published Women Writing Socially in Academia: Dispatches from Writing Rooms. The book entwines voices from ten countries to illustrate the many ways that social writing helps women and transnational scholars to structure their own and others’ writing practice in community and serves as a space for empowerment in the increasingly complex and precarious sectors of higher education and research publication.

Kate, Wendy and Theresa Truax-Gischler contributed a chapter each, as did former MET member Jess Kelley and METM17 keynote Rowena Murray.

The volume is the latest addition to Palgrave Macmillan's series on Gender and Education.
