I have been a freelance translator for over 10 years. Prior to this I worked as an in-house translator in Germany for 5 years and then in the UK as a technical author for 4 years. I work mainly in translation - predominantly web sites, user handbooks, operating instructions and tourism info - but also regulary index books and journals on a variety of subjects. I am also a Chartered Translator with the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
