The METM Chronicles
The chronicles are a series of conference reviews penned by METM attendees for the Hive.*
Why be a chronicler
- Help build a shared MET resource and keep the Hive alive.
- Give others who couldn't attend a glimpse of what happened at METM.
- Get more out of the METM session you review.
- Hone your review writing skills and have your work edited.
- Share your published writing on social media.
How it works
- Go to the form and pick the talk you want to chronicle from the drop-down list.
- Let the speaker know you’re going to write a review of their talk.
- Ask the speaker’s permission beforehand if you’d like to include any slide content.
- Write an honest, fair review (max. 600 words).
- Post your chronicle to the Hive by Monday, 16 November. (Instructions will follow.)
What happens next
Our chief chronicler will read your review and the Hive team may edit it lightly before we publish it. We will credit you as the author and add your name and a link to your MET profile.
If you have any questions, drop us a line. Welcome to the team!
