METM18 presentation

Non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) – to sign or not to sign? That is the question

Sue Leschen, Manchester, UK

Why should we get credit? Because we are professionals who increasingly aim to work on a level playing field with our clients.

The aim of this presentation is to encourage colleagues to negotiate appropriate NDAs with their clients. The speaker will discuss standard industry NDA clauses and will provide guidance on the pros and cons of accepting or rejecting them. Attendees will be invited to bring their own queries to the Q&A session. The presentation will be comprehensible and of interest to both novice and experienced colleagues, who may often be faced with NDAs wherever they are based and whatever jurisdiction(s) apply.
