METM26 raffle

The traditional METM raffle will take place at the end of the General Assembly (GA) on Saturday, 17 October. Non-member attendees are welcome at our GA as observers and can join in the raffle.

Call for prizes

If you’re a MET member or METM attendee and you’ve got something to give, be it a book, tool, resource or something else, we’d love to hear from you. Contact Emma Goldsmith.

The prize list below may continue to grow. Check back later!

Prizes

In addition to two prizes from MET for spots at an in-person or online workshop in 2027, the following people are generously donating the prizes detailed below:

• Francesca Matteoda: one online yoga class, either group or one-to-one
• Laurence Fogarty: family-produced bottle of extra virgin olive oil from Lazio
• Lawrence Venuti: signed copy of The Bewitched Bourgeois: Fifty Stories
• Martina Abagnale: one-year subscription to Lemon Twist, a project management tool
• Michael Farrell: signed copy of A Guide to Machine Translation for Today’s Professional Translator

How the raffle works

By attending the GA, you will be able to take part in the raffle at the end. All you need is your virtual raffle ticket, which you can pick up at any time on the day by tapping the button at the bottom of the My METM page.

Beverley Taylor-Jones will draw the lucky winners from a virtual hat, with names and numbers appearing on screen in real time. If you win a prize, please stay on at the end to celebrate with a group photo.
